The artist duo Dorota Gawęda & Eglė Kulbokaitė (1986 in Lublin/PL and 1987 in Kaunas/LT) operate at the interface between art, performance and technology. In their works, they question artificially created contrasts such as nature and culture, subject and object or myth and science. Their approach is poetic, immersive and often collective – inviting us into a world where reality and fiction blur into one another.
About the talk
The discussion will explore the potential and challenges that new technologies bring to artistic practices. The focus will be on the role of AI in art, new forms of narration and speculative futures opened up by digital tools. Together, the participants will reflect on how the relationship between humans, machines and artistic expression can be reimagined.
