Marta Margnetti
The Ticino-based artist Marta Margnetti (1989 in Mendrisio/CH) explores the topics of everyday life, home and personal environments. She works with a wide range of materials and techniques – from glazed ceramics and filigree bronze to sound installations. Her works reflect the “vita contemporanea” and subtly show how our environment can be reimagined through art.
About the talk
The discussion will focus on the connection between language, everyday life and artistic form. It will look into how personal experiences can be translated into poetic spaces and what influence language has on our perception of space and objects. It will also address how art can transform what is considered ordinary and open up new layers of meaning.
In addition, the new art stamp, designed by Marta Margnetti, and the edition created by the artist within this context, will be presented at the event.
