For once, art outside urban areas takes center stage!
Building on Swiss Post’s partnership with events on the topic of “Art in the periphery”, we are investigating the potential of art initiatives in rural regions. As a bronze partner at Zurich Art Weekend, we are holding a panel discussion this year with initiators and curators of selected art events, artists and academic researchers at a university.
Together, we explore the potential of art initiatives in rural areas. Through its commitment to “Art in the periphery” events, Swiss Post helps to build bridges between urban and rural areas and make art accessible to a wider audience.
The following will take part in the discussion: Diana Pavlicek, Head of the Art Department at Swiss Post, the artist Monica Ursina Jäger, Myrta Holinger, Communication Manager at the Bregaglia Biennale, Emil Margot, President of Art Môtiers, and Clemens Fellmann, Research Assistant at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts – Design, Film, Art.
